Tigo has held a three- day digital fair to enable customers and
members of the public to learn new ways of using their smart phones and
to get much more from their mobile phones.
The fair, being held in partnership with Microsoft, Samsung and
Jumia, among others, would also undertake digital classes for students
and members of the public.
It is run from May 6 to May 8.Students of Kinbu Secondary Technical
School, who were present at the fair, were taken through training in
effective online research and other courses.
Speaking at the opening of the fair, the Head of Customer Operations
for Tigo Ghana, Mr Stephen Essien, said the company remains committed to
offer improved customer care and all customer touch points are
reflective of the company’s digital lifestyle agenda.
He said it is in this direction that management of Tigo has been
increasing the number of its customer experience centres in line with
Tigo’s agenda of a digital mobile company of choice.
Mr Essien said the fair would give opportunity to members of the
public to enhance their knowledge of how to access many services via
their smart mobile handsets.
