The 16th Cape Town International Jazz Festival Set For March 27th - 28th #GhanaMeetsSouthAfrica

Jazz musicians and fans from all over the globe will gather in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa from March 27th - 28th, for the 16th annual Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

Known as the grandest jazz gathering in Africa, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival has grown into a hugely successful international event since its inception in the year 2000.

Attendance figures have increased from the initial 14,000 to over 30, 000 in the last few years, and this year more attendance is expected with South African Tourism extending invitations to guests from Ghana, Nigeria and other African countries to boost the popularity of the event across the continent.

Melodytrip ranks the proudly South African event as No.4 in the world, outshining events such as Switzerland’s Montreaux Festival and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland. This year I will be there to experience and share the excitement with readers courtesy South African Tourism.
This year’s event will be held once again at the groovy Cape Town International Convention Centre, and it will feature an amazing line-up of renowned international and local performers.
