Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) boast of an experienced players including star man Emmanuel Ekow Amoako playing alongside Edem Dompeh and Kwame Adjei Akrasi.
But their quest to make the final could be threatened by emerging teams like Kumasi Polytechnic, who have vowed to silence their city rival when the two teams cross sword. The round-robin format will see the winner qualify automatically for the final which takes place in Accra in April.
