Lawyer Uncle Chester Anie WEPT And Said “The Beggars Replay Is A Wonderful Christmas Present For Me”

Okyeame Kwame Versatile Show The Beggars Replay which successfully came off last Sunday, 21st December at the National Theatre, was off the hook with energetic performances from all the professional actors, musicians, and dancers once again.

The event had a lot of well-known faces passing through to have a feel of the only Ghanaian event to receive a popular request. They include Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Dzifa Gomashie, Kwesi Pratt, Obour, Amanda Jissih, Ama .K. Abebrese, Nanahemaa Adwoa Awendor, Mr. and Mrs Ayoade, Mark Okraku Manteyand a host of others.

But one person who could not wait to express his happiness after the event was the international Ghanaian based P.R. guru and Lawyer ‘Uncle’ Chester Anie.

In an interview with the fashion enthusiast he excitedly narrated, “OMG! OMG! Sometimes with limited resources look at what they can produce, this is a multimillion dollar production. It beats anything I have seen anywhere in a long time. It matches up to Chicago from Broadway New York, Mama Mia from the West End in London and Sarafina in South Africa.

This is awesome, just creative, it touches on everything about our society, some might take it as a political statement, yes! It is, but it is also a social empowerment basement as well”.

He continued to say that “It’sabout the existence of God and hope but it’s an awesome production. I just think those dancers connectivity with the music is absolutely amazing. It’s just an art of Theatre in Accra and I know he struggled a lot to raise up sponsorship etc, but this was awesome.”

“And I think in Ghana we must learn to clap spontaneously a little bit more.

Several times I wanted to give the different routine segments a standing ovation, they just deserve it. Okyeame Kwame has out done himself” Uncle Anie said this amidst tears.

When asked if he will ever miss Okyeame Kwame Versatile Show whenever it’s been staged, he elaborated, “Once I am in the country, I will be there. And I don’t know the next one next year, again he better talk to me earlier to see how much sponsorship we can bring on board.

But it is absolutely phenomenal. I will never miss it for anything. He is a star. I’m so uplifted today, it’s just a wonderful Christmas present for me”.
