FrenchKiss DJ is supporting the Ghanaian music industry by producing free viral videos for artistes.
The world-class DJ who moved to Ghana from London after joining Accra-based Starr 103.5 FM said in an interview his reason for doing this lies in his passion for supporting everything Ghanaian, music especially.
"There are so many artistes who go and record in studios but end up not releasing their songs due to reasons beyond their control," he said.
FrenchKiss, who was one of the best club DJs in the United Kingdom with a huge following at club and on-air levels, has played a critical role in putting Afro-Beats on the map. He said he was happy to be part of enriching the local content.
“The reason I was happy about coming down is the fact that, Afro-beats is doing so well out there and seeing my role in pushing the genre in the UK and making it so big now, it’s only fair to come back home, to where the actual music is from, to come to the grassroots and actually deal with the music.”
His recently produced videos featuring Ghanaian acts like Jupitar, Kesse, stream on his YouTube channel, FKTV.
“FKTV decided to make free viral video for these wonderful and talented artistes in aid of people round the world in getting the chance to identify the best talent out there,” he added.
