Miss Eirene Nsudoon Binabibi, 19 year old student of the University of Ghana was declared winner at this year’s most prestigious beauty pageant 'Miss Malaika Ghana' which took off last night at the National Theater.

Miss Eirene, beat other 9 beautiful and intelligent young ladies to win the brand new 2014 Kia Sorato, admission to Abbeam Institute of technology, and a whooping amount of cash.

The event was not left out with the usual lateness of starting an event in the part of event organizers. An event which was supposed to start at 8pm started about some few minutes to 10pm with Ghana’s premium DJ Black producing hot tracks to get the crowed all ready for the event…then came a big visit from ECG, taking off the light but was restored in a few minute.

The night which saw all the 10 delegates put to test in various category of tasks ,including their beauty, confident, elegance, eloquence, talent, amongst others, was judged by Sandra Ankobia, Chris Attoh, Stephanie Benson, CEO of Charter House Mrs. Theresah Ayoade, and PaJohn Bentsifi Dadson.

At the well-attended event, sexy and fast growing dancehall artist MzVee, was the first and the only female musician to rock the night with an energetic and thrilling performance, followed by the 'Ayayaa' singer EL, who climaxed the event with a spectacular performance leaving the audience to screen for more.

Edem’s performance was off the hook, he performed some of his old and new tracks and also had patrons dancing to all his songs. Gemini and Lil Shaker passed through the night to support their fellow musicians on stage.

Miss Malaika 2014 was hosted by the newly wed Naa Ashorkor and was co-hosted Bella Mundi both from GhOne Television.

UB Hair Relaxer, Kia by Rana Motors, Abbeam institute, Crown Paint, Ethiopian Airlines, Royco, Sivorderme, GTP, Papa's Pizza, Exotic Trends, Koko King and Akiboat Impressions  were the proud sponsors of this year’s Miss Malaika and was powered by Charter House and GhOne Television.
