BBnZ Live in collaboration with Accra Breweries Limited (ABL), has launched the second edition of ‘The AfroBeats Big Weekend Festival’ – and it is already boasting of a fantastic line-up!
Lauryn Hill, professionally known as Ms Lauryn Hill, will be performing at this year’s music festival, together with Ghanaian homegrown talents and Nigerian artistes.
This year’s Afrobeats Big Weekend Festival, which will take place throughout an entire weekend i.e. Friday to Sunday, will feature different musical themes for each day.
On Friday there will be an exclusive VIP party to officially launch the Afrobeats weekend, which will be hosted by Ghana’s finest celebrity DJs, followed by an actual Afrobeats party on Saturday, and on Sunday, a mellowed-down Acoustic event will take place. Sunday’s Acoustic set will be headlined by none other than the incomparable Ms. Lauryn Hill.
The dates for this event are Friday, the 12th, Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of December, 2014 and the venue is the Independence Square.
