For a long time the BET Awards has been relegated to only musicians, haven seen D-Black, Sarkodie and R2bees represent Ghana over the years.
Being the first African actress to grace the BET Weekend, Nadia Buari has definitely set a high standard for other celebrities who will follow.
The beautiful actress is reported to have been a special guest of the Founder of BET Holdings, Ms. Debra Lee as the Trace Report can confirm Nadia’s presence
at all major BET platforms during the star jam-packed weekend in Los Angeles.

Later that night the award winning actress was escorted to a private pre-dinner party hosted by Ms. Debra Lee. Though our photogs were not allowed in, we managed to secure a few pictures and can affirm Nadia was chilling with major business moguls including Rev. Run of RUN DMC and Russell Simmons. We are also told they were treated to performances by Jasmine Sullivan, Jhene Aiko and Kandice Springs.
On the main event Nadia Buari turned up looking stunning in a red African print dress representing her origin. Our reporters were denied a close interview with the actress by the heavy security presence but we managed to derive her dress was made by Pistis, a Ghanaian designer.
The Trace Report congratulates Nadia and her team for fully representing Africa during the BET Weekend, we hope other celebrities follow her lead and not settle for less on international platforms.
