Nana Yaw Amponsah, winner of the 2013 Male icon Ghana pageant has donated assorted items to the shelter for abused children in Accra.
The items which included toiletries, food items, water and drinks worth eight hundred Ghana cedi (800 Ghc) was from a charity fashion show he organized in Accra as part of his social responsibility as the winner of the male pageant.
Accompanied by the contestants of the 2014 Mr. Model Ghana competition and Miss Earth Ghana 2012, Nana Yaw interacted with the inmates and encouraged them not to see the circumstances that brought them to the shelter as a setback.
The Head of the home, Madam Georgina Mensah was grateful to the male icon Ghana organization for the support and appealed to other individuals and organizations to assist the home especially with food and toiletries.
