Hard Times In Ghana Says OJ BLAQ

A Ghanaian Musician and Actor, Andy Nii Akrashie , popularly known as  OJ Blaq, conveyed his sentiments to the public on Ghana’s current economy saying it is an impoverished one.

According to him living in Ghana has not being easy due to the frequent increment on fuel prices which is making it difficult for people to cope with price hikes in goods and services.

He said numerous business centres that depend on electricity for higher productivity are now diminishing in their profits following the recent power cuts.

Speaking on XFM’s Xpress Breakfast Show with Kwaku David, OJ Blaq strained his disappointment with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) for neglecting their work knowing how businesses and students are being effected with black out in the country.

In relation with recent educational system in Ghana, the artiste described the situation as appalling adding that the old system is preferable.

He lamented on the fact that teachers are now unable to instill in Students the fundamental virtues to be disciplined and confident with positive morals to equip them with the necessary aptitude when exposed to any surrounding.

Answering a question on what he will do if he were to be president of the nation, OJ Blaq said to him, Ghanaians will always be first and will make sure Ghana gets the necessary fundamental requirements.

The artiste disclosed his intention of coming back after being away from the music scene for some period.

“we are hoping for the best and taking step by step to deliver a fantastic album”, he concluded.
