I hope it helps you as it is helping me!

Today I would like to share on the topic: PROVE THEM WRONG!!!

A lot of times what hurts the most is not the words of your enemies but the silence of your friends. Your enemies or haters are simply doing what they are supposed to do. To do anything other than bringing you down will be unnatural. It is those we call our friends however who pose the biggest threats to our happiness.

We put so much faith in their loyalty that we sometimes forget that they are also human and do make mistakes like everyone else. Do not judge them too harshly or let their lack of support of you be a point of depression. Sometimes we have to move on without certain friends, if they are meant to be part of your life they will catch up.
You do not need a lot of “friends” to realize how blessed your life is. In fact, most of the people you give that title to are spectators in your journey to success. They watch quietly from a distance, not providing any words of support or encouragement but are quick to spread the evidence of failure they witness. Sometimes you need to have the courage to listen to your own heart and choose your own ‘self’. Have faith that you are good enough and you most certainly do not need their fake validation in you.

You don’t ever have to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn’t matter whether that person is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend or a new acquaintance. Make sure you choose wisely the people you surround yourself with. God has a plan for your life. The enemy has a plan for your life.

Be ready for both. Just be wise enough to know which one to embrace and which one to battle. We see haters coming from a mile away and take the necessary precautions each time to protect ourselves from them. We however fail to look within our friendship circles to evaluate who has our best interests at heart and who doesn’t.

We seem to think they are part of our safety net because we have given them the title of ‘friends’.  Don’t expect people to understand your grind when God did not give them your vision. Always, always, always believe in yourself. And remember, friendship isn’t about who you have known the longest, it’s about who walked into your life, said I’m here for you and proved it.

Be yourself, everyone else is taken.

Peace Hyde.
