The final funereal rites of the late legendary hi-life musician, Dr. Paa Bobo is currently underway today, April 5 at the Akyem-Maase in the Eastern Region.
Reports reaching cypressGHANA from the funeral ground is that politicians, entertainers, family and friends have gathered to wish the late farewell.
The musician, born Moses Kwaku Agyapong Danemah in 1951, died while on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he was being treated for lungs and liver complications on December 28, 2013.
He began his music career in 1968 by learning how to play the rudiments of guitar from Veteran Smart Nkansah and later mentored by Chief Abirikyieba Kofi Sammy who later travelled with him to Nigeria where he formed the ‘three axes band’.
