Winner Of Male Icon 2013 Receives Prize From Woodin

Nana Yaw Amponsah, winner of the 2013 Male Icon Ghana competition last Friday February, 28 2014 received the first quarter clothing package from textile giant, Woodin Ghana.

The package made up of ready to wear clothing is in fulfillment of woodin’s promise to cloth him for one year during his reign as part of the sponsorship package for the 2013 male intellectual competition held in November 2013 at the National Theatre in Accra.

Presenting the items at the plush woodin office at airport in Accra, Marketing Executive of Woodin, Georgina Mensah, was delighted about the outcome of the competition and retreated the company happiness to have been associated with the only male intellectual event in Ghana.

She also hinted about a possible billboard deal for the 2013 male icon winner after a few consultations with other members of the creative team to promote the winner.  Present at the ceremony were executives of the Male Icon Ghana organization and staff of woodin Ghana.
Nana Yaw was happy that woodin kept its word on the prize package and promise to wear the clothing officially to promote the woodin brand. He also mentioned his upcoming official charity fashion show ‘catwalk 4 orphans’ in April, 2014 to benefit the shelter for abused children and appealed for assistance.

Male Icon Ghana is an intellectual competition for Ghanaian men 18 to 29 years with the desire to excel in life.
