Dream Entertainment in this month of March proved to be a great force to be reckoned with in the entertainment and event industry as they executed perfectly beyond all expectation two major university hall weeks namely University of Ghana’s African Union (Pentagon) Hall Week and KNUST’s Republic Hall Week.
The African Union Hall week started on the 23 February through to 2ndMarch with lots and lots of fun and interactive activities. This incuded the ‘HAPPY GO SHANDY BBQ PARTY’ on February 28th which was proudly sponsored by CLUB SHANDY ‘Bosoe’ and powered by Dream Entertainment. The turnout for that event was massive and it marked the sign of more fun packed activities taking place the rest of the night and week.
That same night the fun and excitement was tuned up to an extra level as they pulled off the biggest house party in the country, The ShutDown House party. The ShutDown House Party which took place at East Legon had the whole house filled to capacity to the extent that some of the people outside had to be prevented from entering for some time to prevent overcrowding. The party ended in the wee hours of the morning as people were still trooping in as at 4;00am.
The Artist night, which later turned to be more like a fun carnival followed the next day with splendid performances from both the underground and top acts such as Jay nice, Nana nieand topperformers such as Galaxy, Fimfim and the Hosts , The Fokn Bois.
The Pent Hall Week was finally crowned with the Shades On Shorts Beach Concert at Muuston Beach on the 2nd March 2014. This was by far the biggest beach concert in the history of events in Ghana. The Concert had a massive turn out from students from all the universities across the country and the general public.
They witnessed some great performances from top acts such as, Asem, AJ Nelson, Fimfim, Jupita, Iwan and Stonebwoy. The fun at the beach continued till the early hours of the morning with a bonfire and non-stop quality music. Generally, the beach concert lived up to its theme and Dream Entertainment did a splendid job ensuring that. Transportation and security for each and every person present at the event was well coordinated and no major challenges were faced whatsoever. The African Union Hall week started on the 23 February through to 2ndMarch with lots and lots of fun and interactive activities. The second event was the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s Republic Hall week, which is also one of the biggest hall weeks in KNUST and in Ghana.
Even though therewere other small events on campus during the Repu Hall week celebrations, Dream Entertainment organized the biggest event, The Funcity Artiste Concert which was sponsored by Club Shandy ‘Bosoe’.
The Funcity Artiste Concert witnessed some of the best performers in the country. This included Episode, Efo Shaker, Fimfim, Stone Bwoy and Castro who brought out the best performances they have ever given in ages to the satisfaction of the Thousands of the Students and the general Public who gathered.
According to the Republic Hall President, Entertainment President ( Lay Low) and their executives, the just ended Funcity Concert has been one of the best shows witnessed by the Republic Hall and the entire School in a long time and they were proud and happy it happened during their term in office .
The Republic Hall President also thanked Club Shandy for sponsoring the event and Dream Entertainment for their splendid production and Coordination.
One great and rarequality I realized about the Dream Entertainment team is, no matter the obstructions they face during an event, whether technical, rain or natural, they always manage to pull it off with great results.
This I commend the CEO,Mr Majeed Yougbare for his exemplary leadership and his team for great work and productions and I know with this attitude more great prospects and events will come from the camp of Dream Entertainment.
Finally, I will recommend the services of Dream Entertainment to any Cooperate body who are interested in organizing a successful event or get value for their money because I know they will deliver.
