The African Regent Hotel played host to the launch of Dream Child Concert for the third year running. For an organization committed to creating the best conditions possible to give children the childhood every child deserves, the launch started smoothly with the MC, Paa Kwesi Holbrook-Smith introducing the people at  the high table.

The chairman of the occasion, the Nigerian High Commissioner, H.E. Ademola Oluseyi Onafowokan followed the touching plea by Angela Lazar, a partner of the project and a passionate advocate of children rights for people to donate to the cause.

With a promise that the fourth award will also happen in Lagos come next year, the High Commissioner spoke of the commitment to providing children with the right things to make their upbringing as enjoyable as possible. The chairman of the concert Mr. Ibru also added his voice to that of the High Commissioner his country man.
Ben Brako, co-founder and Teddy Osei, the veteran musician of Osibisa fame as well as Becca all spoke about the number of artistes and the outlook of the event that will happen on the 22nd of March at the National Theatre. Eric Don Arthur from Orphan Aid Africa opened up their operations as an avenue for helping homeless and deprived children foster families.

As a testament to their great work, an artist by name Jewel had two of his paintings auctioned together with a generous artiste who was at the time of the event having an exhibition in the hotel as a support for the good cause.
