Guinness disrespects Samini & Shatta Wale ahead of eruption concert

The Ghanaian preference of foreign musical acts to that of our local musical stars has somehow gotten to its peak, something many industry professionals have constantly talked about but seem to get nowhere.

Ahead of the much publicized Guinness Eruption Concert at the Accra Sports stadium on Saturday November 23rd 2013, a recent publicity material which surfaced online by kindest courtesy showbiz critic Francis Doku shows exactly the lack of respect for the Ghanaian artists billed for the event as none had their names on the material but had that of Wizkid and the event headliners Big Sean and Akon.

The picture which came under the caption saw many industry professionals lament on the unprofessional attitude and disrespect by the organizers towards the hottest Ghanaian acts at the moment Samini and Shatta Wale although believe it is not really a serious problem.
Check out some of the comments by industry professionals.

Jackie Ankrah: One day soon it will all come back to haunt us…..this great preference for everything foreign.

Cecil Kwabena: Big insult to those Gh musicians billed for this show . No respect for them. Absolute nonsense from Guinness.

Ebenezer Anangfio: Its not trivial, they should have.

Cox Tamakloe: 100% with you Francis, just shows how unprofessional our artiste management are, when i was in the game, you couldnt walk through my backyard with this.
