Just when everyone was wondering where azonto was going next, hiplife duo, D2, show up and promise that they are ready to take the dance style to a whole new level at the festive season's biggest party “Decemba to Rememba”.
According to the group made up of Duke Thompson and George Ocansey, they will steal the show with their energetic performance and creative dance moves.
“We are revved up for a fantastic performance. Come and learn the latest azonto,” they stated.
The members of the group, were former group members of local Ghanaian popular music group DADABEES, which had tremendous success between the years of 2004 and 2009 until they split ways.

Since their separation with the DADABEES, they've worked tirelessly on making music and producing a string of hit tracks that landed them a record deal with Canadian base label Hype Records.
With to a new management and label home, D2 was able to shoot their first international music video for their first single "Shake Ur Body".

The group will be performing live at the Accra International Conference Centre on December 24, 2012 on the same stage as other artistes like, D-Black, Keche, Asem, E.L., Kaakie, R2bees, Lousika, Al'ova, Dr. Slim And Dobble, Keita, Sister Deborah, Bisa Kdei, D2, Akatakyie, Criss Waddle, Cwesi Oteng, among others.

The official dress code for the party, as has been the case for all the 6 years this event has been running, is white top and jeans.
