Actress Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe Appointed Ambassador To The Kingdom Of Spain

Ghanaian actress and former model Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe has been appointed Ghana’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.

Kalsoume, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is part of a list of 14 others named for various ambassadorial, high commissioner, and consul-general designations by the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama.

Kalsoume Sinare holds a master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy (2023) and a bachelor’s in public service and governance (2021), both from GIMPA.

In April 2025, reports emerged that the actress had been shortlisted for an ambassadorial appointment.
Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe is married to football legend Anthony Baffoe. In December 2024, the couple celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
