Self-acclaimed dancehall king Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale seems to have officially resigned from doing music.
Shatta Wale and musical rival were engaged in a brawl at the just ended 20th Vodafone Ghana music award where the latter was seen in videos circulated on social media pulling a gun midway through his acceptance speech after winning the highly competitive reggae/dancehaal artiste of the year.
This came after Shatta Wale attempted to join Stonebwoy on stage, which did not go down with the BHIM management team.
After the incident however, Stonebwoy had duly apologized for his actions, and both acts have subsequently been picked up and detained at the Tesano Police station.

Shatta went his facebook page and posted what is seemingly an official resignation from the music business.
He said “I have better things to do now than to record a song.. Shatta Wale is on a different level… Music was just a hobby I chose….. The story will be, they couldn’t STAND HIM NOR STOP HIM till he got into his REAL ESTATE BUSINESS!!!.
He post went on “I HAVE ENOUGH MONEY IN THIS BIZNESS THEY CALL MUSIC!!! The Reign WAS GODLY!!! Big up every SM fan..you tried!!! We tried!!!”
