Multi-genre musician Brenya has teamed up with NanaSSpice, a company that deals in food recipes, processing and philanthropy to fete and donate assorted items to the Female section of Nsawam Prisons.
The event dubbed Way Back is slated to come off on Saturday, 12 of March.
Throwing more light on the event, A rep for both Parties (Brenya Religion & NanasSSPice) explained ?Way Back simply means trying to give the inmates of the female ward a feel of how they lived their various lives when they were outside the prison walls
It is aimed at helping them reconnect with those feelings. The event is not mainly the usual donations that we all know. It will be in the form of partying with the in-mates. Providing them with great dishes they do not enjoy in prison.
Creating moments that last a lifetime is my priority spending time with the in mates most especially is my little token of love to these people who feel rejected by the society and assure them that a few like me are with them and will do everything within my means to make life very comfortable even in prisons.?
"Way Back" according to its organisers promises to be an annual event across the country.
Brenya is well noted for winning the award for the best alternative Gospel Video of The Year and the Alternative Gospel Song of The Year in the 2013 Ghana Gospel Industry Awards with debut single - LIFE
