Piece of Peace: I Am....

Welcome to your regular dose of ‘A PIECE OF PEACE’! I believe we are all born to be great in our own way, and life is a journey laced with a series of lessons to enable you to unlock your inner greatness!

So stayed tuned for a personal insight on tips, information and advice aimed to inspire and motivate that I am discovering as I embark on my journey to unlocking my inner greatness. I hope it helps you as it is helping me!

Today I would like to share on the topic: I AM…

The most powerful tool we have as individuals is our mind. We have the ability to dream infinite possibilities and create amazing realities. The key to unlocking the power we have lies in our outlook of ourselves. What is your perception of who you are? Our perception informs our decisions everyday. If you perceive yourself to be a failure, you think like a failure, act like a failure and eventually you become a failure.

We are what we think and perceive of ourselves. Bill gates had a dream of the Personal Computer and that dream created the reality of Microsoft. Steve Jobs dreamt of an alternative and that produced the Giant that is Apple. An important component in turning our dreams into realities is the power of the tongue. What we speak into our lives shapes our perceptions which in turn focuses us on the path to achieving our goals. So what do you say you are?
Every time you are down, remember to proclaim what you are to yourself. Say I AM … Followed by a precise positive statement… I AM A WINNER, I AM A CEO, I AM A GOOD FATHER, I AM WHO GOD WANTS ME TO BE. That positive declaration creates the mindset that you need to push through any challenges and barriers that you have.

The Power of I AM is stronger than you can ever know. There are many great things that have been achieved with the powerful statement – I AM! Martin Luther King decided he was more than his skin color and that perception helped in no small part to the abolishment of slavery. Nelson Mandela decided he was more than a prisoner of apartheid and after many years behind bars managed to become one of the most influential icons of our time and changed a lot of lives.

There are many examples of people who have used this simple but powerful tool to change the course of history. Declare today and everyday forward who you are. Let it be a positive declaration of your dreams.

Change your negative perception about yourself and when in doubt, remember you are more than that situation you are going through! Your faith and declaration is going to change your circumstance and set the major work in your life in motion, so keep declaring powerful words over your life!

Be yourself, everyone else is taken!

Peace Hyde
