WATCH: Tweet About Meeting President Of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Was To Start ‘A conversation’ – Sarkodie

Ghanaian artiste, Michael Owusu Addo professionally known as Sarkodie claims his tweet about the need to meet the President of Ghana wasn’t necessarily a demand but “a conversation” starter.

On December 19, 2018, the ‘Glory’ act tweeted about having a chat with President Of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and people in power about the hardship in the country.

He added that would release ‘inflation’ and ‘Masses’ part 2 – referring to songs he put out earlier calling out the then John Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government for the difficult times in the country.

“Obviously people know that if I really wanted to meet the president, I’m not going to put it out on Twitter,” retorted the rapper in an interview with Eli Kharis on Rythmz Live on GhOne TV.

“To spark a conversation. If I wanted to meet the president, there is a way. There is a protocol that you need to go through. That doesn’t mean I was joking. I just put out that tweet because of the current condition of the economy here in Ghana.”

He also spoke about his life as a father and husband, music business and more.
