Eltor
Consult, a customer experience training and advocacy outfit, will host a
launch reception for Ghana’s Customer Choice Awards on the 14th of
September 2018 at the African Regent Hotel.
The launch
reception will be followed by the Customer Choice Awards ceremony in
January 2019 which will recognize and celebrate businesses and
organizations that provide outstanding customer experiences.
The
awards will feature a voting process entirely in the hands of consumers
who will decide which businesses they deem as customer-centric via
Speakupp, a social feedback and survey app.
“The
Customer Choice Awards will utilize a tech-based voting process to
provide customers and end users of products and services on the Ghanaian
market an opportunity to have their voices heard” shares Etornam James
Flolu, the Founder and CEO of Eltor Consult, a business consultancy firm
that advocates, promotes and trains individuals and organizations on
customer service related issues.
Customers will make
their experiences known with the use of Speakupp, a mobile and web-based
survey app that enables users to create polls and vote via app web
browser or USSD short code.
Businesses who are nominated can invite and
encourage their customers to participate in the voting process through
the various channels. Consumers have the option of giving any form of
feedback be it positive or negative.
“By using
technology to monitor consumer preference, we will be able to ultimately
generate a comprehensive customer experience study that is worth
assessing for research and development, tracking the customer experience
quality of businesses and a reference point from which businesses can
improve service delivery in the country,” adds Etornam.
The
Customer Choice Awards is open to any business operating in Ghana as
long as it is approved by a regulatory body such as the Registrar
General’s Department, Ghana Standards Authority and Ghana Revenue
Authority among others.
The
launch will be held to announce nominees, explain the voting process to
stakeholders and share details for the awards ceremony which will be
held in January 2019.
