I Am A Similar Version Of Tupac – Osayo

PROMISING GHANAIAN RNB artiste and Black Avenue Music signee, Michael Tetteh Osayo Donkor known in showbiz as Osayo, says he thinks of himself a similar version of the Aerican rapper and actor Tupac Amaru Shakur, also known by his stage names Tupac, 2Pac and Makaveli.

According to Osayo who used to go by the name Tey Orion , Tupac was everyone and no one at the same time, he was so many different people yet staying true to his own identity at the same time according to those who knew him.

Speaking to the DAILY HERITAGE, he explained that the rapper who sold over 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time, is his inspiration and is a similar version of himself.

He said “I think of myself as a similar version of Tupac. He loved everyone and was very passionate about everything he did. He poured his heart and soul into his craft. If you ask anyone who knew about Tupac Shakur, you get different answers about his character and personality, not in a bad way but he was just "everyman" and that’s what I believe I embody as well...eventually the world will get to know Osayo.”

Osayo, who has been in the music scene for five years said music has always been part of his life since childhood, “My mother loves to sing as well so she sang to me every day while I was in her womb so I just came out like that. I use to sing in the shower a lot and I guess the acoustics in there made me better. ”

The BAM signee Osayo has released his debut single under the label titled ‘Me & You’ which he said is part of his EP which he will drop later in the year. The song was produced by Rony Turn Me Up and video shot by Prince Dovlo.
