The reigning Miss Ghana UK, Miss Sabina Awuni and gospel artist Noble Nketsiah teamed up to throw a party for about 60 kids of the Royal Seed Orphanage on Easter Monday; serving them hot meals, drinks and candies plus other items. The event was held at the Blue Rose Estate Park at Kasoa in Accra on Easter Monday, April 2.
The two celebrities who have individual projects in support of underprivileged children made time to answer questions from the children who asked about issues including health, education, career and many more.
Miss Ghana UK Foundation has been supporting the Royal Seed Orphanage for some time now. Last year, the foundation launched a £1-for-pads initiative, which raised money to help needy young girls during their menstrual period.
Noble Nketsiah, a co-founder of the NGO, Care Enough, has for some years now adopted a number of orphanages including the Children Home of Hope at Cape Coast in the Central region of Ghana, as part of his Kids-Off-the-Streets Project.

He performed some of his hit songs, including project theme song, Mmofrayi for the kids, who surprisingly knew all the lyrics and sang along. Noble specially performed for the first time since its release, his very latest song #Meto (I will Sing) which features Lemaine and Morris Babyface.
When one kid asked how she could sing like Noble, the gospel artiste promised to do all he could to help her achieve a career in singing if she continued to be a good girl. “I was super humbled to hear one of the kids say she wishes to sing like me”.
When asked about the latest from Noble’s camp, his publicist, Larry Hagan, hinted: “He is currently promoting #Meto (I Will Sing) whose video, released about a month ago is doing extremely well.
Next month, he will release his song with Obaapa Christie titled ‘Onoaa’, as he prepares to host two highly anticipated concerts in the UK at the Manchester City Hall on August 18 and London (Grace Point Hall) on August 25.”
Royal Seed Orphanage, founded by Naomi Esi Amoah, is located in Kasoa. It was established to help prepare underprivileged children to be self-reliant, positive, respectful and become asset to society.
Miss Ghana UK 2018 will be held in London in September.
