LAW EXPRESS SEASON 3 AIRS ON GHONE TV

Nuhela Seidu is back with her team of lawyers to educate and inform the general public on matters about the law.  Season three of the popular and most watched talk show on television, Law Express, is here, this time airing on GhOne television.

Showing every Sunday between 9:30pm and 10:30pm, season three of Law Express promises to be more interesting and engaging with carefully selected topics for discussion. Just like previous seasons, there are several seasoned lawyers to contribute to the discussion every weekend.

The first episode of the season premiered on Sunday 8th April 2018 with the panel discussing a rather sensitive issue, Abortion, a subject which is rarely and not openly discussed in Ghanaian communities and homes. Abortion has been a controversial subject in many societies through history on religious, moral, ethical, practical, and political grounds.

The panel which comprised of Theodocia Naana Quartey and Martin Kpebu, successfully defined adoption and further discussed some concerns raised about abortion – clarity on who is qualified to perform an abortion, whether the consent of the woman (or guardian) was required, what the gestation limits were, where a legal abortion could be performed and more.

The episode which has been receiving impressive reviews since its airing has generated a stimulating discussion on several online platforms with several people calling for a broader discussion on Abortion whilst others are advocating for a review of the laws on Abortion which they consider as not sufficiently clear on several aspects of the subject.

Law Express season three continues this weekend on Sunday 15th April 2018 with Road Traffic Offences as the topic for discussion. Joining the discussion will be Bernard Owiredu Donkor and Samuel Dublin Mahama.

As road users, whether drivers, passengers or pedestrians, we are likely to commit Road Traffic Offences. Do make a date to get a better understanding of Road Traffic Offenses and know what to do when you find yourself on the wrong side of the law.
