VVIP member, Joseph Nana Ofori better known as Prodigal has sent out congratulatory messages to Nigerian acts Wizkid and Davido for their wins at the just-ended Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards held in the UK.
Referring to them as his “brothers”, he lauded them for their feats, calling them wins for the entire continent.
He also celebrates “My Own” singer Samini, who holds the record for Ghana’s first recipient for the laurel, admonishing young acts to pay homage where it is due, and to pursue an agenda of One Africa instead of divisive acts.

The last part of his post, made via social media portal Instagram, seems to be a response to dancehall act Shatta Wale, who, from a harmless stamens about not regarding Wizkid as a superstar, now seems to engage the Nigerian musicians in a lyrical feud.
