Borussia Dortmund Gabonese striker Pierre Eric Aubameyang was named 2015's African Player of the Year on Thursday during the Glo-CAF awards ceremony held in Abuja, Nigeria.
The Gabonese star dethroned Manchester City's Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure, winner of the last award for the last four years running, and defeated Andre Ayew of Ghana who placed third on the list.
By points was 143 points, with Manchester City midfielder Toure with 136 points and Swansea midfielder Andre Ayew came in third with 112 points.
