The team from Airtel led by its Sales and Distribution Director, Samuel Sarpong made the donations to leadership of the school and spent time mentoring and distributing gift packs to pupils of the school. Pupils were also treated to exciting activities such as face-painting and musical chairs to give them a truly memorable experience.
Making the Presentation, Samuel Sarpong said “As a company, we remain committed to providing the platform for our employees to truly impact their communities.
This school was nominated by one of our employees who identified the need for books to stock the library of the school to improve teaching and learning. We are making this donation on behalf of all Airtel employees who continue to spread the joy of the Christmas season through the 12 Days of Giving initiative. At Airtel, we believe in the empowerment of people and in supporting each and every one to realise their full potential.
It is our hope that these books will contribute greatly to enhance teaching and learning in the school”.
The Headmaster of the school, Mr. Noah Ayisi, who received the donations said “We are thrilled and grateful to Airtel Ghana for supporting our school and spending time with the children today.
These books will certainly go a long way to help develop the knowledge of the pupils. On behalf of the school and the PTA, I want to say a big thank you to Airtel”.
