WILL GHone TV CHANGE PRESENTERS DUE TO NEW MANAGEMENT?

Over the years GhOne has been one of the most watched entertainment tv station in and around Ghana due to its variety of quality entertaining programs.  

It came as a surprise to many when news broke about the sales of Ghone to Bola Ray’s EIB Network operators of starr 103.5 FM, Live 91.9Fm, kasapa 102.3 FM and other stations around the country.

So Due to the change in ownership and management one would wonder if well-known faces of the station such as Naa Ashorkor, Berla mundi, Blaque Boy,Amanda Jissih, George Quaye host of the ‘Pundits’ ,KOD and among others still maintain their jobs especially those affiliated with other stations not under the EIB network.

Let’s take a look at some of the presenters working profile to determine if they stand a chance of maintaining their jobs.

Blaque boy is a host on Rhythm show and it ‘It Takes two’ on GHONE TV and host a show on Yfm which is not under the EIB Network. Next on the list is Amanda Jissih host of E-talk on GHONE TV, she also hosts a show on Hitz FM. Will they maintain their jobs due to their affiliation with non EIB network stations?.

Berla Mundi host of Gliterrati and Rythms show on Ghone TV is also an entrainment presenter at Live FM which is under the EIB network, also Naa Ashorkor hosts ‘Tails from the powder room’ and ‘Guess who is coming for Dinner” on GHONE TV, she is also the host of ‘The Zone’ on Starr 103.5fm, So looking at their current working relationship with the EIB Network, Cypress Ghana believes they might be maintained at the TV station.

EIB network has promised to improve on the success the former management of the station is currently thriving on and with that in mind views are at the edge of their sit waiting to see what the Network has in stock. The new management is yet to speak on any change in staff and presenters since it took over in November .
