Superintendent Kofi Sarpong Launches “I Believe” Album

Top celebrities in the country including, renowned men and women of God, gospel and secular musicians, politicians, and businessmen gathered at the Liberty Assemblies of God, Lapaz last Sunday (November 1st) for the golden album launch of Supt. Kofi Sarpong , ‘IBelieve’.

Tsatsu Tsikata, Samuel Awuku, Bishop Kobby, Abeiku Santana, Samuel A. Tobbin, CEO of Tobinco Pharmacy, Joyce Blessing of Heavy Price fame, Ohemaa Mercy of Wofiri Mu, Francis Amo, and O.J were joined by Kwaw Kese, D Cryme amongst others to celebrate with Supt Kofi Sarpong.

The whole place was charged up as Gifty Osei, Funny Face, and a host of other celebrities entered the auditorium.

Asked about their view on the album and song, this is what some celebrities shared;

Samuel Awuku, “that for every human being you have the spiritual aspect to your life. My politics is founded and grounded in my religion, which is the Christian faith. Every day I spend time to communicate with my God and music is one important factor in my life. Aside the heavy burden of the politics, not a day will pass without me listening to music; it uplifts my soul especially tracks by Supt. Kofi Sarpong”.

Willie and Mike, “We love the ‘Hour by this time’ track. He’s a notable man and very humble, respectful. Everywhere you invite him, he will come, either in U.S.A, Canada, Ghana.

Ohemaa Mercy, “Supt Kofi Sarpong is one that God has called for this end time. You can testify that his music speaks to your soul. Even my collegues in the music industry know this to be a fact. I know that God is doing great works in Supt Kofi Sarpong’s life.

Kwaw Kese, “One thing people don’t know is that we are all doing the work of God. Whether you are a hiplife, highlife artiste, you all doing the work of God. That’s the talent that God gave us and once you are using it to please other people, it’s the work of God.  I don’t differentiate between the kind of music people make. I know I’m doing God’s work and as my brother is doing same, my senior brother is launching his album, I have to come and support”.

The event which started at 2:00pm with a Red Carpet had the ministrations of O.J, Francis Amo, Joyce Blessing, Ohemaa Mercy, Willie and Mike, Obaapa Christy, just to mention a few.

There was a large uproar when the man himself, Supt Kofi Sarpong mounted the stage. Friends and loved ones massively contributed during the fund raising session. A special citation was presented to Supt. Kofi Sarpong by Media Excel .

Media Excel’s boss, who is also manager and producer of Supt Kofi Sarpong disclosed to this in an interview:

“All of us put together, the technical team, organizers, celebrities and fans have done a great job. We had few challenges but the entire program was successful.”

He also said, in his message to fans; “We appreciate you all for your support, financially, in attendance and prayers. We apologize for any expectations of yours that was not met especially with the time factor. Our next concert will be mega and you should expect nothing but the best.”

“We are coming out with the “IBelieve” Concert with a surprise guest artiste from the U.K. The team is ready to start work this week.” He added Congratulations Supt Kofi Sarpong and we wish you well.
