M-Jay Alias ‘Asante Fante Bossu’ Tops All In Next Music Talent Reality Radio Show

Next Music Talent (NMT), a radio reality show conceptualized by AfriCal Concepts, (a media and entertainment company) to unearth music talent has finally met its goal. NMT is designed to search, groom and promote musical talent.

The Maiden edition was produced by AfriCal Concepts in collaboration with Trinity FM, Bogoso in Prestea Huni Valley District for eight week.

A large number of people were auditioned at Trinity FM after which eighteen were selected for the competition.

After 6 weeks of eviction, King of Kings, Anyanyaway, Prekese, Akoto, Feeling Boy, G-9, Osagyefo and Samuel said bye to Next Music Talent.

The 7th week was eviction free where the ten contestant; Vincentia Asiedu (Gospel), Digital Boys (Hiplife), T-Jay (|Hiplife-hiphop), Seke Jay (Hiplife-Hiphop),Kapede Boys(Hiplife), Kwesi Christian (Gospel), M-Jay (Hiplife/Hiphop/Afropop), Dynasty(Hiplife), Patrick B.A (Gospel) and Pizzalo (Hiplife) made it to the grand finale with eviction free edition street jam which took place at the Bogoso Town Hall.

The street jam was attended by 1000s of fans who were all satisfied by the performance of the contestants.

The Grand Finale took place at Go –Palace, Bogoso with a great attendance and wonderful performances by Eduwoji of Yenko nkoa fame, Klen-AM, an up-and-coming musician/actor and Misbee dancers.

The ten finalists also performed their debut singles engineered by Hasty Beat, a young talented sound engineer who worked with Scientific, Hecta, Natural Face, Eduwoji, Spicer and currently managing Stephany Benson’s studio.

The competition grew tougher at the finals after five contestants; Seke Jay, Pizzalo, Dynasty, M-J and Vincentia Aseidu made it to the semifinals.

After a tough battle between Seke Jay and M-J, the judges proved beyond doubts that Seke Jay’s lyrics were not clear unlike M-Js’ which convinced them that M-J aka Asante Fante Bossu deserves to be the Next Music  Talent. Dynasty placed the third position leaving Vincentia Aseidu and Pizzalo at the bottom.

The winner will record a single and feature Eduwoji to be produced by Street Beat, the producer of the popular song (Adonai by Castro ft Sarkodie) of the year at the just ended VGMAs.

This song will be promoted on radio and Next Music Talent media partners; Flex Newspaper, ameyawdebrah.com, cypressghana.com, ghanagist.com, mytrinityfmonline.com and enewsgh.com.
