The Thinking Out Loud hit singer is hoping to store the sounds he will be recording in Ghana and other African countries for future songs.
The Give Me Love vocalist is being inspired by Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn’s ongoing African Express, which has had Western and African musicians collaborating and performing live shows since 2006.
“[Ed] got in touch with Damon after seeing his work with African musicians and he has given him some good advice,” the insider revealed.
