After making history as the first music group of African descent to receive enormous attention across the Scandinavian region, Finland based Ghanaian music duo, Tripple 2, doesn’t appear to look back.
The group, made up of twin brothers – Atsu Akrong (Akrong) and Etse Akrong (CJ) has this week released any chat topping song titled “Bills” plus an accompanying music video. Bills, chronicles the lifestyle and daily activities of an average person and the quest to satisfy his or her needs through fair or foul means.
The song is produced by the eighteen (18) year old dynamic music producer, Vinski Tirkkonen, popularly known as Davinsci who is fast becoming one of the most sought after producers within the music circle. The talented Davinsci hails from Kuopio (North Finland) and has become known for his matured sounds as well as smoothness in the beats in his production.
Talking about the theme and the group’s motivation for the song, Atsu Akrong with stage name Akrong indicated that the group wanted to give their following and the rest of the world a new experience. “In as much as our core reason for being in this industry is to entertain, we also have an obligation to educate our fans as well as impacting positively on their lives with our works as public figures.

For this reason, Tripple 2 decided to do a song to touch on a social issue. The song teaches people of the implications of doing the wrong thing to achieve success”, he said.
On his part, Etse Akrong, best known by the name CJ said “How far will you go in your attempt at making a livelihood and will you consider the implications of your actions and inactions? What are the effect of these implications on your career as well as your life in general”.
The music video was shot in several locations around Helsinki, Finland and has started receiving great reviews from music pundits. Directed by the creative brain, Samir Faraj, the video which was shot as a movie is expected to receive heavy rotations on international music channels and platforms.
