Tigo Takes Over 5th Edition Of Ghana Meets Naija

The annual Ghana Meets Naija show is now in its fifth year, this year's edition is dubbed 'Tigo Ghana Meets Naija Mega Concert' which will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre on May 23rd.

This edition marks the 5th anniversary of West Africa's biggest musical concert which was initiated in 2010, the show has soo far lived up to its expectation each year.

Aside the mega concert reaching a milestone, Tigo one of Ghana's biggest telecommunications company have taken over as the official brand sponsors from fellow competitors MTN.

The concert, an initiative of Empire Entertainment, is built on celebrating, uniting and exploring the different, yet similar musical tastes, cultures and artistes of both Ghana and Nigeria.

Over the years, the concert has seen some of West Africa's biggest music acts including Wizkid, M.I., Tiwa Savage, R2Bees, Shatta wale, Sarkodie, Dr. Sid, 9ice, 2Face, Ice Prince, Davido, Castro, Kcee, Samini, Kwaw Kese, Guru, 4x4, and Timaya thrilling thousands of patrons.
However, this years performers hasn't been officially announced yet but as usual organizers make it a point to assembly the very best and current hit makers from both countries who put up impressive stage crafts to make the show a memorable one.

As part of commemorating the 5th Anniversary of 'Tigo Ghana Meets Naija Mega Concert', the grand concert is expected to attract star-studded guests alongside thousands of patrons all over the world in celebrating the success story with Tigo Ghana this May.

Organizers will be releasing provisional list of acts expected to perform at the concert in the coming days.
