Miss Abena Akuaba Appiah Sets To Make Ghana Proud Tonight At The Miss Universe Finale

Miss Universe Ghana 2014, ABENA AKUABA APPIAH, is preparing for tonight’s Miss Universe finale taking place in Miami, Florida.

The 63rd Miss Universe pageant will see contestants from 88 countries including Ghana vie to take over from Gabriela Isler of Venezuela.

Abena arrived in Miami nearly three weeks ago ahead of the main event. From the moment she touched down, the Ghanaian representative has made new friends, costumed in countless dresses but with her vision on the crown.

She believes that there’s a lot of pride in this particular pageant, that’s why she entered into it from day one. And before leaving the shores of Ghana, she told the media that all she wanted from the people of Ghana was their support and prayer.

The pageantry comes off 0n Sunday, January 25th at 8:00pm in EST (which will be early Monday morning in Ghana), and the new queen will be crowned with the new DIC crown.

The night will be hosted by Thomas Roberts and Natalie Morales with colour commentator Jeannie Mai. Performances will be by Nick Jonas, Prince Royce and Gavin DeGraw.

After the Preliminary Competition, among other fun-filled moments, the time is drawing nigh as we all keep our fingers crossed and hope for a ‘good evening’ for our own Abena Akuaba Appiah.

Cypress Ghana & its esteem readers wish her an excellent outing tonight in the whole exercise of MISS UNIVERSE.
