Kati G. Opens Ghana’s Biggest Street Concert With “Be da One” ft Episode

Kati G, a Ghanaian singer was one of the young creative talents who opened the ‘S’ concert organised by Accra-based radio station and publication, Starr 103.5FM and Graphic Showbiz on Saturday, December 13th.

Born Catherine Eno Adutchummwa Owusu-Sakyi, Kati G is a gifted songwriter, record producer, cellist and vocal actress who is a passionate change maker, she believes

the world is a better place with people appreciating and loving the lives they are fashioned by God to lead.

Catherine’s interest in music began at the age of eight, when she fell in love with two musical instruments; the cello and the clarinet.

She said she made a decision immediately, to take lessons in playing these instruments and consequently majored in Cello. The following year, she decided to make one instrument into a long-term commitment.


Within the next 15 years, she groomed herself into becoming a good cellist but pursued skills in rapping, singing, composing and producing music as well.

The Berklee College of Music alumna returned to Ghana to pursue a career in music and has so far released two hits, ‘Me do Wo’ featuring Rap Doctor Okyeame Kwame and her latest ‘Be da One’ which she performed on stage with the impressive Episode at the ‘S’ concert.

Other than singing, she is the Executive producer at Starr 103.5 FM, producing for stars Bola Ray, Naa Ashorkor & Jon Germain.
