Tourism Prospects Amidst The Ghana Summer Beach Rave 2014

As our national anthem prophetically puts it, “God Bless our Homeland Ghana”, we will all admit that our dear beloved country has been blessed beyond measure.

Our beautiful landmarks and tourists’ sights have in a way made this country a hub for tourism by all standards.

But we will all also agree that these tourism prospects have been very much underutilized to maximize huge profits.

One such tourism prospect has been our beaches. The deplorable states of our beaches have not only dented the sanitation prowess of the country but also in a little way caused some form of financial loss to the state in my opinion as very little effort is put in revamping this prospect.

The great masterminds within the award winning company “Ticket Ghana” will in August this year change this scenery.  The annual Ghana Summer Beach Rave I must admit is a great initiative by the Social Media Power House to help alleviate the negative stigma associated with our beaches.

The “SUMMER” tag attached to the name is just perfect in my opinion as it unequivocally fits into the summer period of a lot of foreigners who take the period to visit holiday destinations. This event will by no thought give holiday visitors in Ghana something exciting to look forward to.

The event that is categorized by loads of beach activities including beach soccer, musical performances and a new side attraction to the program line up, the crowning of a Bikini Queen. This addition they have called the “MISS SUMMER BEACH RAVE” is intended to create a brand ambassador to help in the sanitation campaign the company will embark all year round to sensitize communities along the coast to maintain cleanliness in their environs.

So in high spirits and expectations we are looking forward to an impeccable event, which in my opinion if executed well can rub shoulders with the beach experience within the world cup’s host nation Brazil. After all the enthusiasm is wrapped around beautiful beaches and hot ladies on the shores right?
