Ghana’s maiden representative at the finals of this year’s Mr World male contest, Nii Tackie Laryea, has returned home after taking part in the event.
Laryea, who gave a good account of himself while in London for the world event, put up a convincing performance but eventually saw his dream of clinching the ultimate go to Danish Carpenter/Model, Nicklas Pederson.
Laryea, who had earlier on in the competition qualified as one of ten finalists in the Talent event, enjoyed a good final event, going all out to make his country proud.
This was Ghana’s first attempt at the world title, in which the local franchise holders( Exclusive Events Ghana), hope would inspire a yearn for subsequent editions.
“I am glad to have been chosen to represent Ghana. It was a lifetime learning experience,” Laryea, who is a banking and finance student, said.
Inna Maryam Patty, CEO, Exclusive Events, says, “we were looking forward to putting in a good fight; and yes we did. His effort was remarkably impressive.
