Fellowship of Living Praise fed over 50 widows today at the Fanmilk, Ablekuma branch in Accra. The church which has about six branches in Ghana gave each widow a sack of rice, six tins of milk, a bottle of oil, toilet rolls and a tin of milo.
The widows who benefited from the donation came from the Ablekuma community which included both Christians and Muslims.
Rev. Dr. Charles Nii Odartey Mills, the founder and General Overseer of the church speaking at the event invigorated the widows to press on in life despite the passing away of their spouses. He also counseled them to put their trust in the Lord for there is a potential in them.
Rev. Dr. Charles Nii Odartey Mills disclosed that it is the duty of the church to look after the widow hence the donation. He also promised another donation in December.
Mrs. Sophia Naa Chiche Mills, the church mother expressed her happiness for the church remembering the women whose husbands have died.The widows who benefited from the donation came from the Ablekuma community which included both Christians and Muslims.

The church gave special presents to Rev. Felix Nortey and Rev. Ernest Amoah for their outstanding performances towards the programme held today for the widows.
Personalities present at the event included Rev. Henry Mills, Jonathan and Paul Helweg from Minnesota, USA.
The donation was supported by Woodland Bible Church in Minnesota, USA.
Fellowship of Living Praise headed by Rev. Dr. Charles Nii Odartey Mills over the years has been embarking on developmental projects in villages.
