The image of Valentine’s Day has for a while has been dented with some level of promiscuity but the aim of the event is to bring a sense of responsibility and self-control among the youth. The program is scheduled to hold at the main basket ball court of the University of Ghana from 2:00pm.
It will have eight tertiary institutions battle it out in competitive basketball gala. The schools include Accra Poly, University of Ghana, Central University College, Marshalls, University of Professional Studies, Ashesi University, Ghana Technology University among others.
The laudable step was taken to help the youth channel their energies into something productive such as sports especially on a day that there’s the temptation to indulge in dangerous adventure. It will also serve as an avenue to educate the youth on the importance of having healthy relations devoid of promiscuity.
Another segment will have gentlemen who will apply makeup for some selected ladies. Those who manage to get the best stunning look emerge winner. Amidst the fun and excitement, popular musicians will perform at the event as well as some surprise celebrity appearances.
