Ghana Should Legalise Smoking Of Ganja

A Jamaican top reggae artiste, Eric Donaldson, is set to headline two major musical concerts in Ghana.

According to the organizers, the first concert dubbed, ‘Big Man Dance’ will be held on February 1, at the plush Mensivc Hotel in Accra for very important personalities (VIPs) who would want to have their private session with the Reggae legend in a serene environment.

The second show which is for the masses will also be held on February 5, at the La Beach and it will be used to celebrate the birthday of reggae legend Bob Marley which falls on February 6.

The Jamaican singer who has a huge loyal fan base in Ghana is an astounding performer by industry standards.

The Eric Donaldson Live in Ghana Concert was scheduled for December 21st and 25th last year but had to be cancelled due to flight problems.

Kofi Okyere Darko, known in the showbiz scene as KOD, one of the organisers, told BEATWAVES in a chat that Eric Donaldson will be in town one clear week before the concert, adding that the Jamaican artiste would use the opportunity to rehearse and grant interviews to hype the show.
“The stars to perform alongside Eric Donaldson such as Black Prophet, Nii Lante, Atango Simbad, Jupitar and a host of others have been carefully selected to ensure that fun-loving Ghanaians have a truly wonderful time, and enjoy their money’s worth to the fullest,” he said.

KOD stressed that the Jamaican star who is one of the most successful contemporary reggae artistes, has promised to set the venues on fire with his stagecraft, dance skill and hit-songs, and the crowd cannot help but dance their hearts out.

The Eric Donaldson Live in Ghana Concert has been put together by Moscow 1 entertainment and powered by Ghana’s power station, Radio Gold.
