The ever popular Waakye Party has grown over the years from its infant days when it was known as the Facebook Waakye Party.
Since its launch on 25th June 2009 at the forecourt of the Aunty Muni Waakye joint at Labone, the event has now moved to the Aviation Social Centre.
The Easter edition is slated for 31st March 2013 at the Aviation Social Centre. This edition proudly sponsored by Airtel and powered by Events Factory.
Activities on the day includes, face painting, inter-community basketball competition, Bouncy Castles, Inflatable, Goal posts for penalty shoot outs.
There will be variety of waakye joints including Aunty Muni from Labone, Sister Waakye from Adabraka, Lizzy Waakye from Mataheko and Arletchino Waakye Osu.
